I am excited to be part of this community. My name is Fatima Dabugat. I am a teacher in Calgary, Alberta.

I enjoy hiking, swimming, learning about new technology and exploring nature.

I will be teaching FSL and options Grade 7–9 and Health in Grade 7. I am excited to learn with this community and explore ways to use Lumio to support engaging teaching as well as incorporate Lumio into my professional learning to help my students and other practitioners integrate it into their own practice.

My name is Valerie. I'm an educational advisor in special education and classroom management. I taugh in elemenrary for 20 years. I started using Lumio and Smart recently since my previous school board was using Activinspire.

I love reading and learning. My main interest relating to teaching are learning the bases of reading, writing and maths.

I plan on using Lumio in my training to show teachers and others practioners how they can incoporate it in their practice as well.

On a personal note, my husband and I have two boys; our oldest will be starting law school this fall and our youngest is entering his sophomore year as a BFA Musical Theatre student. I love spending time with my family, reading, and watching movies.

I'm so excited to join this Ambassador Community! I love SMART Notebook and Lumio because of how well they engage young learners, and I hope to learn how to use them more effectively through this group! I'm also looking forward to connecting with other like-minded, passionate educators.

My name is Zachary Dery. Zach is fine too! I am from Palm Beach County, FL. I currently teach 8th Grade World History and Pre-AICE Cambridge Global Perspectives. I hold a BA in Political Science and Anthropology and an Master of Science in Political Science. I am newer to the teaching profession. My previous career was in Human Resources for the corporate world and higher education. I am an avid pc gamer- history games, and I really enjoy the digital world. Lumio has been an incredible tool to allow students to bring the past to life. My other hobbies include working out, reading and going to the beach.
