I am a language teacher from Turku, Finland. I teach English (EFL) as well as Swedish and Russian. I hold additional degrees in media education and special education, which strongly support my inclusive and learner-centered teaching approach.

I am passionate about educational technology and immersive learning and actively integrate digital tools into my teaching to enhance student engagement and support diverse learners. I continuously develop my pedagogical skills through professional development and international learning communities.

I am a language teacher who lives and breathes hockey — my team is HC TPS from Turku, Finland. Ice hockey has always been a major part of my life, and there is nothing quite like the thrill of the game. When I am not teaching or cheering at the rink, I am at home with my family and our six beloved cats. Our 😺 😺 😺 😺 😺 😺 cats are my constant companions, often found nearby as I work on new projects — my unofficial (and very fluffy) support team! Their playful energy and soothing presence help keep me grounded, whether I am designing lessons or refining digital experiences.

I am excited to be part of the SMART/Lumio Community and hope to gain new ideas for teaching and learning, discover innovative ways to use technology in education, and connect with colleagues who are passionate about creating engaging learning experiences.
